The Dog Porch was inspired by six extraordinary friends who forever changed my life. Chloe, Emma, Charlee, Whitney, Rusty, and Shelby each brought something unique into my world—unconditional love, laughter, comfort, loyalty, and countless memories that I'll always treasure. these extraordinary little souls that changed my life forever I know a lot of you will understand that statement because if you have been "fortunate enough" to experience this kind of love and companionship in your lifetime and you know it never goes away. I wanted to find a way to honor these wonderful littles souls. This page is my tribute to them and the legacy of love they left behind. Through their stories, their personalities, and the joy We shared, I hope they'll make you smile, remind you of a pet you've loved, and help make The Dog Porch feel like home. Our Story
The Dog Porch began with a simple idea and a porch full of memories.
After saying goodbye to some very special little souls who filled my life with unconditional love, I wanted to create something that would honor not only their legacy, but the incredible bond we share with our pets. They taught me about loyalty, laughter, comfort, and living in the moment. Their love changed my life forever.
The Dog Porch is more than an online pet shop. It's a place where pet lovers can feel at home—a welcoming porch where we celebrate happy tails, remember those we've loved and lost, support rescues, and help more animals find the forever homes they deserve.

Chief of Porch Host & Heart of the Porch
Chloe believes every visitor is a friend who just hasn't been welcomed yet. With a kind heart, a gentle spirit, and a warm smile, she's always ready to pull up a rocking chair, listen to your stories, and remind everyone that no one has to walk life's journey alone.
Whether she's celebrating a new adoption, honoring a beloved pet, or simply greeting you with a happy tail wag, Chloe leads with compassion and love. Around here, she believes every pet matters, every story deserves to be heard, and every family belongs on the porch.

Director of fun and Neighborhood Adventures
If there's a tennis ball nearby, Emma is already one step ahead of you. Full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm, she believes every day is meant for a new adventure and every visitor deserves a warm welcome.
Emma keeps everyone on their toes with her playful spirit and endless excitement. Whether she's chasing her favorite ball, making new friends, or convincing the crew that another game is a great idea, she reminds us that joy is often found in the little things.
Her happy-go-lucky attitude is contagious, and her biggest mission is making sure there's always a reason to smile on The Dog Porch.

Chief Happiness Officer
Charlee believes life is simply better when you're smiling. With her playful personality, contagious giggle, and endless enthusiasm, she has a special talent for turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories.
Always ready with a laugh, a happy dance, or a goofy idea, Charlee keeps the porch filled with fun and reminds everyone not to take life too seriously. Whether she's celebrating a new forever home, cheering up a friend, or proudly carrying around her beloved cow toy, she brings joy wherever she goes.
Her mission is simple: make people smile, make pets feel loved, and make every day a little brighter.

Chief Common Sense Officer
Every porch needs someone who can keep things running smoothly, and that's Whitney. Calm, confident, and wonderfully witty, she's the voice of reason whenever the crew's excitement gets the best of them.
With a quick comeback, a knowing look, and just the right amount of sass, Whitney has a way of bringing everyone back down to earth—especially Emma and Charlee. But beneath that playful sarcasm is a big heart that's always looking out for her friends.
Whether she's reminding the crew to stay on track or quietly welcoming a new visitor, Whitney believes every pet and every person deserves kindness, respect, and a place to belong.

Head of Neighborhood Patrol
Rusty proudly considers herself the official guardian of The Dog Porch. Always alert and keeping a watchful eye on the neighborhood, she's convinced it's her job to make sure everything—and everyone—is safe.
Brave, loyal, and always ready for action, Rusty never misses a chance to investigate a strange noise, greet a new friend, or make sure the squirrels know who's in charge. While she takes her patrol duties seriously, her gentle heart and wagging tail remind everyone that she's really just looking out for those she loves.
When Rusty's on duty, you can relax knowing the porch is in good paws.

Director of Comfort & Cuddles
Shelby has a gentle heart and a calming presence that makes everyone feel at home. Soft-spoken, affectionate, and always ready to offer a little extra love, she believes the best way to brighten someone's day is with kindness and a wagging tail.
Whether she's welcoming a new friend, comforting someone who's missing a beloved pet, or simply enjoying a peaceful afternoon on the porch, Shelby reminds us that love doesn't always need words—it just needs to be shared.
She has a special gift for making people smile, helping hearts heal, and proving that even the quietest little soul can leave the biggest paw prints.
